Information you submit

The contact form may collect your name, email, organization, inquiry topic and message. Do not submit investment account details, passwords, tax records or other sensitive financial information.

Interactive tools

Calculators, the workplace needs-assessment demonstration and personal course progress operate in your browser. Values, assessment choices and quiz answers are not submitted to Basic Investor. If you voluntarily join an employer pilot, the site reports only anonymous pilot participation and module completions; your quiz answers and personal learning summary remain private.

Employer learning programs

A learner is represented by a random browser identifier that is transformed into a keyed hash before storage. We store the program, module-completion state and timestamps needed for reporting. Learners may use a one-time anonymous recovery code. They may also explicitly opt in to email recovery: the normalized address is transformed into a keyed one-way hash in the learning database, while our email-delivery provider receives the address only to deliver the requested secure link. Consent and verification timestamps are retained. Email addresses and their hashes are never disclosed to employers or shown in administration reports. We do not store participant names, quiz answers, financial details, IP addresses or browser user-agent strings in the learning database. Employer-facing module results are hidden until the configured minimum group size is reached. Authorized Basic Investor administrators can review anonymous learner references, recovery status, completion history and activity timestamps for operations and support. Program records are deleted according to the configured retention period; expired and used email links are removed automatically.

Organization administrators

Company administrators use a business email address to receive invitations and secure sign-in links. Administrator addresses are encrypted at rest and are visible only to authorized Main Admins and administrators within the same organization. We retain administrator role, status, invitation, session and audit information to enforce access controls and document administrative changes. Organization administrators cannot access another company’s workspace. Expired invitations and sessions are removed automatically.

Assigned organizational learning

When an organization assigns learning, its authorized administrators provide an employee email address for invitation delivery. That address is encrypted at rest and remains visible only to Main Admins and authorized administrators in the same organization. After the learner accepts the privacy notice, the organization can see invitation status, assignment status, required-module progress and completion date. It cannot see quiz answers, financial details, recovery credentials or private notes. Learners can request a single-use, 15-minute email link to restore their assigned-learning dashboard on another browser; requests are rate limited and do not reveal whether an account exists. Completion certificates contain a random verification code, curriculum name, module versions and completion dates; they do not contain the learner’s email address. Learner invitations expire after seven days and may be revoked or reissued.

Technical information and analytics

Our hosting provider may process standard logs such as IP address, browser type, requested pages and timestamps for security, reliability and troubleshooting. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate visits, page views, referral sources and page performance. It is configured as privacy-first analytics and does not use advertising cookies.

Use and service providers

We use inquiry information to respond, assess potential partnerships, correct content and operate the site. Hosting and email-delivery providers may process information on our behalf. We do not sell personal information, and the current site does not use advertising cookies.

Retention and security

We retain inquiry information only as reasonably needed for the stated purpose, business records and legal obligations. No online system is completely secure.

Your choices

Email recovery is optional and requires an affirmative consent. You may continue with an anonymous recovery code instead. You may request access to, correction of or deletion of information you submitted, subject to applicable exceptions, through the contact form.
